Julie Zickefoose: Nature Artist & Writer
The natural world is the wellspring of inspiration for most of my writing. If I'm ever bereft of ideas, I have only to take a couple of hikes around our land. Rather than simply report what I've found, I think about related observations, and the central theme that unites them. For me, the synthesis that is writing is a natural extension of watching. And I am always watching.
